Karoly a topre….hailing from the from sub zero climate of Tvrzhrad. Born to minor nobles in the Dwarven community, he lived a peaceful youth raised by caring, knowledgeable dwarven parents. His father Bev a Torpe was an honourable blacksmith servicing the needs of the higher nobles, creating fine though somewhat ornamental weapons and sturdy, reliable armour. His mother was a proficient seamstress capable to weave for the higher classes but choosing to provide clothing for the lower classes.
He was then sent to the chapels of Dragar at a young age by guiding parents and from here honoured by the high cleric of the church, offered a position at the Cathedral of Dragar.
There he was trained by the high clerics of Dragar in the arts of destruction and war, while still stressing the ideals and morals of the church to Karoli. Once fully trained and competent enough to teach other up and coming clerics, the high priest of Dragar requested that Karoly venture to Varg on a cultural exchange with the Cathedral of Varg.
On arriving in Varg, Karoli found many of the populace of Varg intolerably lenient in their worship of Dragar. He turned to adventuring after finding the clergy of Varg corrupt and questionable in their values and worship of Dragar.
It remains to be seen whether his travelling companions will be any more pious…
Death
Died of exposure and his grievous wounds in the ruins of Turnia after the party was forced to leave his battered unconscious body behind to escape the hunting Lyndwyrm.
